welcome to the
As a society, we’ve become obsessed with hacking algorithms, hung up on small technicalities, and aim for nothing more than viral moments.
Don’t get me wrong, having a thoughtful social media strategy is fundamental, and it’s one of the things I can help you do best, but somewhere along the way, social media lost its heart. While many have a social media strategy, most are now wondering how to cut through the clutter to stand out.
In a sea of sameness, the only thing left to do is be authentically you. There’s no other way.
And this state of being is what I call heart-centered.
About Ava
My story starts at expansion’s opposite expression…constriction. In 2010 I entered Corporate America for my first big girl job: a social media intern at a global hospitality brand.
My job was to figure out how to use social media for business. At the time, social media felt exciting! It was an expansive opportunity to connect with new people, places, and ideas all around the world. It had heart. But what started as an expansive tool quickly shrank into algorithm-confined thinking.
Suddenly, I found myself sitting in board rooms talking about how to get more fans, more likes, more views.
Throughout my professional career, my personal life mirrored what was happening inside of the beige cubicle walls I dwelled within.
My dreams and desires shrank down into tiny boxes.
I climbed the ladder, went to grad school, got promoted, worked with incredible brands – and gained tons of incredible, life-changing first-hand experience which helps make me the person I am today – but after following a long trail of breadcrumbs leading to a conventional definition of ‘success’ only to feel empty and disenchanted,
I realized that the only way to find fulfillment was to reconnect to my authentic self, come back to heart-center, and pave my own path.
In 2020 I took the leap from employee to entrepreneur to follow my dreams of traveling the world, building a work-from-anywhere business, and experiencing lifestyle freedom – and I’m here to help you do the same.
